2010 VITA Sites >

2010 is United Way of Southwestern Indiana's third year of offering the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program to families here in the Tri-State. A family of three or more could earn up to $5,000 through the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Last year, United Way along with 25 community volunteers helped more than 400 families receive free tax preparation. Combined, they received more than $400,000 dollars in tax refunds.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, or for a list of what to bring for tax return preparation, dial 2-1-1 or contact Emily Baxter at 421-7472.
